Norwalk Officer Recognized For Locating Missing Elderly Man From Westport

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Police Department recognized Officer Shoubert Paulemon as the November 2017 Officer of the Month for his work locating a missing elderly man.

The Westport Police Department had issued a Silver Alert for the elderly man, who had a medical condition and was missing for several hours. Paulemon spotted the man driving his vehicle on West Avenue, several hours after a BOLO had been issued.

Paulemon was praised for his attentiveness, which led to a positive outcome for the man and his family.
